CREATIVE, MULTICULTURAL EXPERTISE & RESORT MARKETING KNOW-HOW. - I began my career in Portland, Oregon, in 1991 as a freelance creative director and quickly built a roster of clients and repeat business. In 1997, I took my art direction abilities to an international advertising and public relations firm in San Jose, Costa Rica and in 1999 I moved to the Mexican Pacific coast where I used my bicultural experience to found a local design firm with a pool of international creative resources in Mexico, Costa Rica and Oregon. In addition to providing bilingual Hispanic marketing services to clients in the US, I created successful political campaigns for several Mexican state and local politicians, including a gubernatorial campaign in Colima, Mexico, and the most recent municipal race in Los Cabos for 2008.

In 2003 I was a founding partner in a leading hospitality marketing firm with operations on Mexico’s central-Pacific coast and the southern Baja peninsula. The firm’s travel website was recognized as the best promotional tourism website by the Mexican Tourism Board (SECTUR) at the 2004 Tourism Tianguis in Acapulco.

In 2007 I established myself in Los Cabos, where I am currently the President & Founder of Grupo Igartua S.C., a firm providing consulting, advertising, publishing and resort marketing services for Baja California’s elite travel and hospitality market.
